Trading Rules

The Following are the Trading Rules:

1. Each team is only allowed THREE trades per season. Then ONE in the Off-Season.

2. Trades can not be larger than 3 players to any team involved.

3. A player CAN be traded more than one time in any given season.

4. Multiple Team Trades ARE allowed. In any trade consisting of multiple teams any one team MAY NOT send more than 4 players in the trade and receive no more than 4.

5. With the System there can be no more than a 3 Point Difference or the trade will be denied.

6. For Multi-Team Trades the Point Difference will be 5.

7. Each team will have TWO Franchise Players. One on Offense and one on Defense. These are your favorite players on the team and they can NOT be traded. You may only change your Franchise Players for the following reasons:
  1). You are a new owner taking over for an old owner.
  2). It is a new season and you want to change them.

Please note, the following system is going to be used as a 'Beta' for this season. The rules will be a little less strict until we feel we have as complete a system as we can. We're just trying to maintain League Integrity and keep trades fair. Thank you for bearing with us and being a part of this experience.


Overalls:

99-95 OVR - 15 Points

94-90 OVR - 12 Points

89-85 OVR - 10 Points

84-80 OVR - 8 Points

79-75 OVR - 5 Points

74-70 OVR - 4 Points

69-65 OVR - 3 Points

64-60 OVR - 2 Points

60 OVR and Less - 1 Point


Developments:

Superstar - 8 Points

Quick - 5 Points

Normal - 3 Points

Slow - 1 Point


Ages:

20-22 - 3 Points

23-26 - 2 Points

27-29 - 1 Points

30-31 - 0 Point

32 - -1 Points

33-34 - -2 Point

35+ - -3 Points


Draft Picks:

1st Round - 12 Points

2nd Round - 9 Points

3rd Round - 6 Points

4th Round - 4 Points

5th-7th Round - 1 Point

I have concerns that this system would not allow for a Julio jones/ Sammy Watkins type trade. Where one team have up multiple first round picks and a later round pick for one pick in the top 5.

Like I said, it's a trial run. Should we feel it will have a major impact in draft deals such as you exampled, we can drop the system for those and go by a BoG approval.
